Since we moved into a little log cabin in the foothills, I have been searching online, on Craigslist, for a kitchen table. I know what I want: a small, round oak table to go with two oak chairs that we already have.
I found what I wanted, but it was too far away to retrieve conveniently. So I kept looking. This morning, I found another small table. Not exactly what I was looking for, but it looked like it would fit and blend in with our rustic decor, so I called the phone number in the listing and arranged to look at it.
Only eight miles from the cabin, I paid $35 for this antique game table. It is the perfect spot for Scrabble. This unique piece of furniture fits perfectly in our tiny space, and will still be useful after I find that oak table. I’m still looking, and I love a treasure hunt!
